About Us

Wolfgang Sickenberger is head of course of Optometry, Opthalmotechnology & Vision Science at the Ernst Abbe University Jena. As co-founder he leads the research institute JenVis Research. His primary educational and research interests are Sports Vision, Contact Lenses and Dry Eye. His professional contributions in these fields were honored with national and International awards. Beside numerous published papers in German and English is well known among practitioners due to his published books “Classification of Slit Lamp Findings” and "Dry Eye" .
