McMonnies Dry Eye Questionaire
The McMonnies Dry Eye Questionnaire consists of twelve points. They cover the typical symptoms of dry eyes and the frequency of their manifestation, the answers are with the options yes, no or sometimes. It also takes into account the age, sex and use of contact lenses as well as a previous diagnosis of dry eyes, various diseases and medications. The McMonnies Dry Eye Questionnaire allows for the classification of normal, tolerable / mild and dry eye.
OSDI Original
A commonly used symptom questionnaire is the Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI), which can be used to determine the degree of dry eyes. It consists of a total of twelve questions that relate to subjective discomfort, impaired visual acuity and environmental influences. The questionnaire is filled in by the patient as independently as possible. Finally, the evaluation is performed using the OSDI score (0-100). Dry eye can be classified symptomatically from normal, mild to moderate and severe using the assessment.
JDEQ - Dry eye symptom questionnaire
The Jena Questionnaire on Dry Eye Symptoms is a short test looking at the environment and subjective complaints related to the dry eye condition. Answering the three questions can give a reliable assessment of the symptoms and degree of dry eye.
